Privacy policy

What we collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

Last updated 20 October 2026

The short version

  • We do not sell your data, show ads or track you. This website sets no cookies.
  • We collect what we need to answer you, provide what you use, and bill you for it.
  • Stripe, HesabPay or the app stores take payments. We never see your full card number.
  • Your content is never used to train AI models.
  • Ask us anything about your data at info@respiresoft.com. A person reads it.

Who we are

RespireSoft is the trading name of Respiresoft LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company at 32 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We build software for clients and run our own software products. We decide how personal data is used in the situations this policy describes, so we are the “controller” of that data. For anything in this policy, write to info@respiresoft.com. A person reads every message.

What this policy covers

  • This website, respiresoft.com.
  • The software development, hosting and support work we do for clients.
  • Our own products and apps that link to this page or have no privacy policy of their own, such as LiveCall at meet.respiresoft.com.

Some of our products have their own privacy policy, written for exactly what that product does. For those products, their own policy applies and this page fills any gap:

This website

This website sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and it loads no third-party scripts. Its fonts and images are served from our own server.

Like every web server, ours records each request it receives: the IP address, the time, the page asked for and what your browser says about itself. We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure, and they are deleted after a short period.

If you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, subject, your WhatsApp number if you give one, and your message. It reaches our team by email and is used to reply to you and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one. Nothing else.

The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp. If you message us there, WhatsApp (part of Meta) handles that conversation under its own privacy policy.

When you hire us to build software

To work with you we keep your contact details, your company’s details, our agreements, invoices and payment records, our correspondence, and the files and access you give us for the project.

When we build, host or maintain software for you, the personal data of your own users and customers belongs to you. You are the controller of it and we process it only on your instructions, only to do the work you hired us for. Only the people working on your project can reach it, we do not use it for anything else, and we return or delete it when the work ends. A data processing agreement is available on request.

When you use our products

Depending on the product and what you use in it, we collect:

  • Account details: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your organisation and your settings. Used to sign you in, run your account and contact you about it.
  • What you put in: the records, messages, files and other content you create in the product. Used only to provide the product to you.
  • Payment records: what you bought, when, for how much, and whether it was paid. Used for billing, receipts, refunds and tax.
  • Usage and security records: sign-ins, the device and app version, IP address, and how many credits a request used. Used to keep accounts safe, stop abuse, bill usage correctly and fix problems.
  • A notification token: only if you allow notifications, so the product can send them to your device.
  • Support messages: whatever you send us when you ask for help.

In LiveCall, the audio and video of a meeting pass through our media server to reach the other people in the room. We do not record meetings. A name you enter and the chat and files you share in a room are shown to the people in it.

AI and speech features

Some of our products have AI features, such as reading a receipt photo, drafting text, answering from documents, live captions or spoken translation. They are off until you use them. When you do, the text, image or audio that request needs is sent to the AI provider that handles it, only to produce the result, and without your name or email address unless the feature needs them.

In LiveCall, while captions or translation are switched on, each speaker’s audio is sent to our speech provider, Soniox, to be turned into text. We do not keep the audio.

We never use your content to train AI models, and we never send it to anyone for that purpose. AI output can be wrong, so check it before you rely on it.

Payments

Payments are taken by Stripe (cards and wallets), HesabPay (mobile wallets in Afghanistan), or Apple and Google when you buy inside an app from their stores. You give your card or wallet details to them, not to us, and they handle them under their own privacy policies. We receive your name, email address, what you paid for, the amount, the date, the result and, for cards, only the brand and last four digits.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.
  • We do not show advertising, and we do not use advertising identifiers.
  • We do not track you across other websites or apps.
  • We do not use your content to train AI models.

Service providers we use

These companies process personal data for us, each only for the job below. A product uses a provider only for the features that need it, and each product’s own policy names the ones it uses.

How long we keep things

  • Enquiries: up to two years after our last exchange, unless you become a client.
  • Client, contract, invoice and payment records: for as long as we work together, then seven years for tax and accounting.
  • Product accounts and their content: until you delete the account or ask us to. We then delete them within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.
  • Server and security logs: a short period, only as long as needed to run and protect the service.

International transfers

Respiresoft LLC is a United States company and our servers are in Germany. Some of the providers above process data in other countries. Where EU or UK law requires a safeguard for a transfer, we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum) or another lawful mechanism. Details are available from info@respiresoft.com.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or stop using it, or send it to you in a portable format. Write to info@respiresoft.com. We may need to confirm it is you before we act, and we answer within 30 days.

In the EU and UK you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK. In California and other US states with privacy laws, you have the right to know, correct and delete, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data. We do not sell or share it, and we will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

If you use software we built for one of our clients, that client controls your data. Ask them first; we will help them answer you.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it for their work. Payment details stay with the payment providers. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

Our website and services are not aimed at children under 13, or under 16 where that is the age of digital consent. If you think a child has given us personal data, write to info@respiresoft.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change matters, we tell customers by email or in the product before it takes effect. The current version always lives at this address.
